How To Run Universal And Non-Universal Modems Configuration Commands For All Nigeria Networks Service Providers

Did you buy a New Modem but find it difficult to run the configuration settings to connect it to your network? In this article, I will list some major configuration codes you will need to implement on your New Modem settings before it will be able to connect to the internet.

This Modem configuration setting is compatible with any modem, be it Universal Modems or Specific Network Built Modems.

What do I mean by Universal Modem and Specific Network Built Modem? A Universal Modem is a Modem compatible with every network. Compatible here means it supports all mobile networks; for example, you can use either GLO, MTN, AIRTEL, 9MOBILE, ETISALAT, among many other networks on the Modem.

A Specific Network Modem is built to support the network for which it was designed. For example, if a Modem is built to only accept MTN Sim Cards, you cannot use GLO, ETISALAT, 9MOBILE, or AIRTEL on it, and it will connect you to the internet.
