How Do I Crosspost My Content To Multiple Pages?

Easy Guide On How To Crosspost Content To Multiple Pages

Have you been wondering if it’s possible to crosspost your content to several pages you manage without re-posting the item? If so, this article is specially written to guide you through the process of crossposting videos to your pages.

One important thing to note before proceeding is that crossposting can only be done on pages you own or manage as an admin. You can’t crosspost to a page where you have no editing access.

How Do I Crosspost New Content?

Crossposting new content is as easy as it gets. New content refers to recent posts or videos that have been published within the last 24 hours. Follow the quick guide below to post new content across multiple pages:

  1. Login to Creator Studio. Only admins of a page can access this feature.
  2. Click on Create Post or navigate to the Home Tab and click on Post Something...
  3. Click Post Video Across Pages.
  4. Select a Primary Page to upload your video.
  5. Select the Other Pages where you would like to post your video.
  6. After selecting the pages, click on Upload, Edit, then publish or schedule your video posts. Scheduling means setting a specific time for your video to be uploaded. Facebook will automatically upload the video at the scheduled time.

NOTE: Admins of the pages where your content is crossposted can only see insights on the post on their specific page. However, insights across all pages will reflect on your primary page.

After choosing the pages you want to crosspost to, you can edit the description and title for each individual post, then publish all the posts simultaneously.

How Can I Crosspost Old Content?

The process for crossposting old content is different from that of new content. Follow the steps outlined below:

  1. After signing in to Creator Studio, click on the Content Library tab.
  2. Click on the Video You Want to Crosspost.
  3. Scroll through your videos and select the one you want to crosspost and the page you want to crosspost it to.
  4. After Step 3, click Crosspost Video.
  5. A box will pop up asking you to enter information about the video post. After entering the information and following the prompts, publish the post to crosspost the content to the new page.

NOTE: Videos considered as Old Content are those that have already been published. A video published just a minute ago cannot be regarded as a new video; rather, it is seen as an old video.

New Content refers to content that has yet to be published. Posting duplicate videos/content that has been posted by a different page will be classified as duplicate/plagiarism content, which is penalized by Facebook as it violates their Monetization Policies.

Duplicate content and crossposting are two different things, and these are clearly discussed above.
